How can I help my horse's hair grow back and help his skin after serious sweet itch

I got him through winter so was unaware of his sweet itch however over summer his sweet itch condition worsened although we have managed now to stop his itching his skin is in a terrible state. We have already bought excessive amounts of fly spray ready for next year and we've also invested in a new fly rug.

The sweet itch has affected his withers and the "bottom half" of his mane , it has also affected his tail. Across his mane there is only stubbly hair which is in a terrible ...

How do I catch my horse when all else fails?

 Hello all,

Today I was at the end of my teather!  I'd been in the field trying to catch my horse for 4 hours, 4 hours!!!!  It's an on - off problem.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason for it.  One day I'll catch her with no problem at all, the next she'll be so difficult that it will take me ages tho today was a record breaker.  Its bizare because she is a lovely horse, loves cuddles, nudges me for more and great riding out.  I just can't quite understand why this is happening.  It's such a ...
