Hey there, there can be alot of reasons for a horse to become lame, punctures, foot abcesses, and damages to the bone, if horses have suffered from any type of tendon or ligament injury, then it can reoccur, they will reoccur, if the slightest damage is done. Hope your horse is ok, but yeh, check with the vet :) x

hoof abscesses, tendon strain, ligament damage, cellulitis, infection, inconsistent work/work that's too hard too soon... the list goes on! how long is the horse lame for each time its lame? is it always the same leg? x
