Try to find a heral alternative to try and ease any pain she may be in without harming her foal. Other then that keep her bed as large as possible and try not to let her move about to much as this could strain the already existing injury. You could also try a muscle rub on her shoulder, an ice pack or even a hot water bottle to try and reduce pain and injury.

try using a herbal muscle and joint rub. These will cool and relax muscles and joints, this will give her some relief from the uncomfort. This will also give you a chance to bond with her and it gives her something to d during the day, Also why dont you try a herbal mixture such as Global herbs Bute-X. its a natural alternative for soundness and comfort, it is also important for muscle tendon, and back comfort. I'd alo suggest putting cod liver oil in her feed as this helps with joints.
