Hi, had the vet out!! Basically went downt his morning and his head was hanging on the ground, so called vet out. I lifted his head up and he immediately put it to one side and nearly reared, pulled head to one side and that was fine but to the other, he took his body with it too, the vet arrived and said that his mouth/teeth is fine, he is damaged the vertibrae at top of his neck which joins his head, everytime the vet touched a spot on his right hand top neck, he winced and pulled away, so he has had an injection of anti inflamitories and has a course of powder to add to his food plus, box rest for 5 days, he said that his mouth was puffy etc because he was trying to eat the hay but in so much pain it was all packed in tight inside his cheek pouches giving the appearance of it being swollen, he is not very well poor man, so no riding for a good week! Thanks for your help though. Now waiting for the bill!!!
