Hi, thanks for you comment on my question, and thought I could help you. When you walk the course (which is complusory! Don't think your gonna go clear unless you walk the course!). Walk the course like you are riding it, so follow the exact path your intent to take on your horse. Check things like the striding and the ground, thinl about where you are going to go into half seat (straight lines, solid ground), or full seat (tight turns, slippy ground, just before the jump). When you are riding it, remember collected but forward. ;) Hope this helped. x

before you jump a course you will get to walk the course so have a look around the course first and find out where each fence is then walk around the course as you would if you were riding, if its on grass check wich parts are slippy or if the ground is uneven.when you walk the course you need to memorise the course wich is usually easy because most fences are different colours or they might have a different filler underneath them. you dont get to practice the course before. if you get through to the jump of then they just tell you the numbers of the jumps you will be jumping and you wont get to walk the course.
