Maybe you are used to her rearing now so you expect it. Next time try giving her more leg in that spot and think "We ARE going to keep going." She'll sense your dominance and continue. When she keeps going, stop squeezing and pat her. You shouldn't get off in the same place because horses are creatures of habit and will learn that she is allowed to misbehave in that spot. Also, try hacking out with a friend on a well-behaved horse.

she may feel imtimidated by the woods try a different route she may be fine or walk past the area wth it.....she may also feel danger and want to pretect you

Is there something, say in a field, that has recently been put there that might be causing her to spook? First winter I had Bronson he started spinning round and rearing up, always in the same spot, just before he got to the yard where the school is... turned out the farmer had put some pigs where the cows normally were, and he couldn't tell what they were, which was scaring him.

I'd agree with you on taking her out with her friend, always seems to work (:
