My mare constantly swishs and flicks her tail when were riding her on hacks and in the arena, why is this? Any tips?

tail swishing is a common symptom of a back back- especially when ridden. Get a specialist out to check her over and try not to ride her until then. If her back is fine then get the saddle checked by a qualified saddle fitter - it may just need re-flocking.

Its because., 1 she riding and the movent makes its swish and 2 its the flys , so shes slicking them away. i suggest b4 hacking shows put fly repellent spray on or th ointment and that will help. Good Luck
