9Think to yourself, that your the best rider in the world!!! Your horse will get the positive signals, and work better. Maybe try trotting poles, or very small jumps - until your 110% sure that your ready... If you ride (or have lessons) at a stable, ask to ride an easy, confidence builder pony! Also, get someone to run with you when you eventually canter... Then after a few times of this, try doing a 20 metre circle in trot, but when come round to complete the circle canter him/her... This always gets my confidence up after a fall! Maybe (if you can) do some work just leading your horse a little, just so you trust him/her a lot! If you use the leading idea... Maybe try riding a horse/pony that's small (not too small for you) and try that them... This means if you fall off, it shouldn't hurt as much ^^ hope this helps
