I used to hav that problem with my mare, but i had people around to hold her, if there was noone there though i would just put one foot in and hold the reins tight and everytime she moved fight against her on the reins, pulling them back, then when she stood losening them and so on, its a long proccess but its al worth it as i can get on now with a stood still pony:) xx
