You might do, but they may be getting on a bit, with all the problems associated with older horses, but my husband's horse cost 900 pounds and is a stunning jumper, because their confidence has grown together. I have to agree with mad Lizzie, my 1st horse cost me £1000 and I did not have him vetted. Needless to say I am awaiting for my new horse to arrive shortly after her vetting and alot of riding and also alot more money.
