In a dressage competition, do you have to change your whip over when you change reins? I have heard yes and no but can anyone confirm the answer? Thank-You.

I would change the crop over, just to be on the safe side- it is supposed to be on the inside anyway- why would they teach it in a riding lesson if it isn't a rule? I don't know... Have fun doing dressage x

I would change it when changing rein as the whips are always meant to be on the inside:D

It really dependds on what ranking you are doing. If it is a really, really, really high rank then you don't have a whip. So it does depend on what rank you are doing!
