Thanks everyone - She already has electric fencing and she goes out probably 4 - 6 times a week so is getting excercise

However, have now found out that she was in fact limboing out and not jumping ! Solved the problem by double fencing with a lower strand of tape.

Hi there not sure this will work for your's but it did mine ...my ted was always getting out he was a real pain ....i use ele fencing now the mains one not the battery one ....and also i know this sounds a little crule but i have touched him with it when its on ....and not only that -are you riding her often ...because to be honest I think mine was just bored ..and when i put the work into him he never tried to get out ....some horses are very clever and will get bored ....teddy is one of them ....they need there minds worked so when there out in the field there happy .... ted he cant be on long grass as hes a real pig and gets so fat in the summer ...like you i make sure there is hay there all the time ...but i have noticed a real difference in him since he's been bought back into work ....its like he stands in the field sometimes and thinks about what he's done with his day ....some horses just like being with us humans others are very happy on there own ...i have my old mare as well at home there not in the same paddocks but she is a happy lady and would never brake out of her feild ...ted was really bad- in fact that bad sometimes when i left the house I would bring him in his stable to make sure he never got out ....but like i have said since i have been working him 6 days a week he's never even thought about about getting out and never tried since and i don't even put the ele fence on anymore .....even if you don't have the time to ride lung her or free school you don't have to have a menege ...use the feild if need be give her something to think about ...just a thought and i hope i have helped ....please let me know how you get on thanks helen x
