Try following the de sensitising excerises used in natural horsemanship. If you can't afford to go to a clinic or the DVDs you can watch how to do it on you tube and on horse and country on sky tv. Play loads of games from on the ground, get some one to check your riding position, maybe take videos, you can follow your progress that way too. I did a Dave Stuart clinic, it cost an arm and a leg but since I don't take weekly lessons, it works out actually cheaper. I lost my nerve after my old horse and I were involved in a car accident. I wont say I am cured, but things are a hack of a lot more fun these days. I plan to do a 2nd one with him next year. You could use bach recue remidy for your self and perhaps your horse needs a magnesium clamer? Is it him or is it you passing on to him?
