My horse paws at everything! He paws at my car if it's in the paddock and anything else in the field causing damage. What can I do to stop him?

He may just do that to investigate new objects. How old is he? My two year od paws and nibbles everything. If it's a problem, keep him out of reach of stuff he could break. What is his paddock like? Does he have companions? He could be thoroughly bored. Give him some toys to play with. make sure he's got enough to eat and drink and otherwise just deal with it. Maybe get a vet out if you think he's in pain.

this is a really difficult question as there are so many possible answers...umm what i can suggest is to have his hoofs checked? lots of these sorts of issues are caused because of loose shoes or a really lodged in peice of rock. horses also do that when they are bored! so just try to keep him moving- he might just be a generally in-patient pony! ;) but it could be because he has injured something? get it checked out by a vet would be wise. i really hope its ok! goodluck :) xx
