This is classified as stealing your horse, so i would phone the police. This happened with my dog, someone picked her up as a stray (she was sitting in my driveway!!!) and refused to give her back until i phoned the police and reported her as stolen. YOU are the owner and you (i assume) have a writen contract which is protected by law, no matter if its written in crayons on toilet paper. If there are two signatures and clearly states this claus, its law abiding. Good luck.

but your first mistake was being honest and giving notice - you should have just gone and got the horse - a lesson for anyone else with horses on loan - trust no bugger.

omg poor you. have you been to see if your horse is still where it should be? although they have said they have moved it. it might just be the case that they have said that to stop you coming. your best option would be to tell her you will be up on the date you set . (if not there try to find out were she is.). If she isnt there then i would go to court. i would be sure you have full right to get your horse back. hope this helps and you get your horse back.

if it was mine i would drive up there if i can get the horse out the field etc i would go back up and get it asap. but thats me lol
