Update:-

Horse is now all better and out jumping again so no long term damage, still has a small swelling on side of face over the fracture site but not really too noticeable.  Crazy chick is still at yard but must be thoroughly miserable as not one person speaks to her now and her every move is scrutinised.   In fact she's been in more trouble for bullying and tormenting some of the younger teenagers at the yard, and all this from a woman who works with kids. Trying to sell house at moment so I can buy my own little place, gone right off livery yards now.  Police submitted the report to the fiscal but so far nothing has come of it unfortunately.  I got a solicitor on to her at the suggestion of the police and she has been well warned to stay back or be at risk of court action for harrassment.  Thanks everyone for all your good wishes and help.

P.S. turns out the police know her very well and are of the same opinion as the rest of us - she's stark raving bonkers!!!

I'm disgusted to hear about this, i saw a women at our yard dragging someone else's horse out the stable to the field by his hair yesterday so i said don't do that and she replied oh he's ok, so i simply said how about i drag you across the yard by your hair and see if your still allright after??? Needless to say she let go of the horse and he followed her to the field anyway.

I realise this isn't on the same scale but my god it makes me so mad. Treat your animals in the same way you would treat humans. I hope you've got this pyhsco women sorted now. I would move yards though i couldn't sleep at night knowing someone like that has access to my horse.
