The insurance will be based on what she is worth, what you want the insuarnce to cover i.e. vet bills, loss of use, death, the level of cover i.e. £5000 vet bills per incident or £3000 normally standard options, what you are doing with her, XC tends to increase the insurance due to the obvious risjks involved. I have Coco insured to do hacking, riding club events (not incvluding XC at the mo - but will add this on when I start to do it this summer) and death ( I think) and it is approx £40 a month. My friend's pony who is alot older and is just used for gentle hacking is only about £15 per month. Your best bet is to have a look on their website or give them a call and they can advise you. I am with Petplan and couldn't recommend them highly enough, they have been brilliant with me.
