I saw an ad online for an 11.2hh pony and the owner said that they shall put her down if they can't find a home what can i do without buying her though i can give her a home only if she is free?

There is no way a vet would agree to putting down a perfectly healthy horse. This is probaly just blackmail to get an easy sale. Don't fall for it.

it's emotional blackmail - don't fall for it - i doubt if a vet would destroy a healthy animal - don't torment yourself

agree with the comments below! so many people will be thinking the same as you! it happens, its reli sad but if everyone said that then what would happen!??? im sure there is someone out there that will snap up the little pony! dont worry about it too much, it reli isnt your problem!

with an ad like that, that is one inconsiderate owner.many people will be thinking the same as you, and the pony will probably get snapped up quickly. The owner probably knew this thats why she wrote it. Its not really your problem without sounding too harsh. xx

This is going to sound really harsh, but its not your problem. Id much rather the pony was put down then ended up going for slaughter or going to someone that would mistreat it. But you could try convincing the owners that you would be the best place for it, or maybe a sanctuary.
