I would definatley say ask your farrier. My warmblood went for a few years without back shoes, we did dressage, showjumping, etc without any back shoes and things were fine. I am quite lucky in that he has good feet, however, there is only a certain amount of time before the feet start wearing down too much if you are riding between 4 and 6 days per week, that's my experience anyway. I have since put back shoes back on and he is much more balanced. There is also that fact that she is a thoroughbred and they are known for their sensitive feet, I would recommend keep them on, but your farriers opinion will matter more. Hope it goes well whatever you choose to do.
