My horse has recently been chewing his stable door. I tried putting rubber cover on the door but then she chews the sides. Any help please?

A head collar with a muzzle attached should do the job. A pony at our stables has one and stops him from doing it. He also has a metal covering across the top of the door however that hasnt stopped him :/
