canadian pine shaving not only absorb the wettness but the stench as well.

i used Megazorb last time my mare had laminitis - last December - then kept a bed down in the field shelter for them both and found it  SO MUCH BETTER than shavings; much more absorbent and it keeps the smell in as well so a cleaner bed altogether.

It also falls through the shavings fork more easily, so you lose less bed that way too.

it does get dusty if gets very dry, so sometimes you need to water it down with a watering can.
