you should always boot up your horse when hunting 'cause you never know whats around the corner. just make sure you have secure boots as they might fall off, and you dont really want to lose them, there is a chance that you horse will tread on the boots but you have to take that chance.

no it should be fine as long as you grease him up thoroughly before you go and wash and clean thoroughly after you come back

I am going hunting and the horse im going also has sensitive legs : im going to use Black Bell Boots and some Black Brushing Boots but with the sheep skin lining for exter comfort :P im using boots for all 4 legs not just the front as some people do as i dont what the horse to her his legs. and its been extra protective xD lol
