How can I stop my saddle slipping forward? It fits well otherwise.

Master saddler Andrew Reilly advises…
The saddle slipping forwards is a common problem that may affect the fuller figured equine, where the girth slips forwards to the narrowest part of the ribcage (behind the elbow). Solutions include having point-straps fitted to the front of the saddle tree, experimenting with various non-slip pads and using a crupper attachment (sometimes used on small ponies) around the dock area.
