personally i would give him double the amount of sleeves of hay this way he isn't bored while stabled. It depends on how much you ride him on the feed he gets but if he starts putting on too much weight feed a little less and if he starts to loose weight feed a little more. But only do this gradually or you'll upset his tummy.
