I own a 16.1hh 27 year old trekhner mare who still leads a full active life ridden on a regular basis. She has been on livery at a friends for the past year. She has always taken care of her feed needs (two large scoops of alfa a and one alfa senior mix once a day in the summer and twice in the winter) but we have now noticed that when she is ridden she seems quite lazy. And now we have been told she is just on grass but we think she needs more to eat. What do you think she should have?
