jackysian I think you're being a little offensive with your reply. I have a New forest x 6yo, who's also a little lazy. When he has energy he uses it to go up not forward, which is a fault with his earlier training that I am correcting now.
If you have a lazy horse check everything, his routine, what you feed him, how often you school him etc. I recently moved mine from being kept out 25/7 to a DIY yard where he's out 10hrs a day and in at night, his diet has changed and he's worked 6 days a week and I vary his work, so he doesn’t get bored. Since being in and changing his diet he's had more energy and work's harder with better results when I ask him. Often he's a bit lazy, but mainly because he doesn't know what is being asked of him.
If I had a child that wasn’t performing as well as I know they can out of sheer laziness I would berate them. Saying my horse is lazy is not, in my eyes, a bad thing, I’m being honest about his ability and energy levels. But I know how well he can work when he tries and so I ask for it when I school him.
I wish you and your horse every success!
