Hi, does your horse like bananas? One of ours does and it is very difficult to get medicines down her neck and we've found that mushing the medicine into the banana and then rolling it all up into a ball works because before she knows it she's eaten the medicine! Otherwise I find dried mint and some cool mix (dampen down) but no chaff works too. Good luck x

A marmite sandwich! spread the marmite quite thick on the bread put his medication on top then either fold the slice of bread over or add another slice and squash it down really firm. This has never failed with any horse's i've tried it on. This method was passed onto me by a lovely friend who has now passed away.
