Has anyone tried NAF Pink Powder as a supplement and has any comments on it? I loan a 15.2hh 12 year old TBx and he is underweight and I have been advised (by NAF) to buy their Pink Powder.

NAF are gonna reccomend their product......... to be honest I think adding garlic in the feed is much better. My friend has the dentist out to her loan TB X warmbood because she was underweiht, nothing was wring with her teth and the vet advised adding garlic granules in her feed. She has gained weight now, and it helps with the flies too :) It's also cheaper then Pink Powder etc. Hope I helped!

I use NAF pink powder - it's excellent. My last lovely horse was very poor when I got him - he really got a fabulous bloom on his coat and didn't need quite so much feed once on pink powder. My new mare's been on it as she settles in to keep everything in working order - she looks great, even her clipped-out coat is shiny! Highly recommend it.

Hi, if you want to try a probiotic I would recommend Protexin Gut balancer(a pure pro and prebiotic). I got some from www.karenruggles.co.uk for my Tb mare who was generally quite hard to keep condition on and suffered badly with sweet itch & mud fever . I am now convinced all her probs stemmed from a poorly functioning immune system as since being on protexin she looks and feels 100% better!! Worth looking into amounts of active ingredients when buying supplements as some contain very little! hope this helps
