My 15.1hh WPB is the same, very spooky and excitable. Try going to www.naturalhorsesupplies.co.uk - I use "Herbal Calm" which contains Chamomile, Vervain and Valerian (banned from competitions) although if that will be a problem they also do a Valerian free supplement. I've found that combined with remedial training it has made a big difference (especially when made into an infusion using hot water) and on the plus side it is totally natural as its just herbs - no magnesium or chemiclas - but my horse is also on a general supplement so any magnesium shortage should be dealt with by that.

Its also very fairly priced - a 900g bag costs £15.99 plus postage and that lasts me at least a month if not a month and a half.
