YH writer Imogen Johnson says:

I was given this jacket to try out a few months ago and I wear it almost every day now. It’s been absolutely brilliant in the run up to winter as it’s two coats in one. It has a detachable inner fleece, which is ideal when the weather is chilly. If it gets a little warmer it’s great to be able to take out the fleece and just use the waterproof, windproof outer layer. On its own, the fleece can be worn around the yard, when riding or even just around the house, and it looks just as smart as the actual jacket. Now the weather has taken a turn for the worse and I’m often out and about in the cold, I wear both layers, which keep me warm and dry. When riding, it just covers the tops of my legs, keeping me dry in the rain. The design allows for movement in the saddle as well as a comfortable and flattering fit. There are inner pockets and a mobile phone pocket, which is ideal when I’m hacking, and it has loads of outer zips.  It’s not a cheap coat but I do think you get what you pay for. It’s excellent quality, very smart and does exactly what it claims to do, so as an investment it’s definitely worth it.
