In the current cold weather I wear these breeches all the time as they are the only ones that keep me warm and are totally windproof. I am so reliant on them in the cold that I even wash them and put them near the radiator overnight so I can wear them again the next day - they do dry very quickly and need no ironing.
They are pretty expensive (they were given to me as a present) but I have so say that I am so reliant on them December-Feb that I would definitely buy another pair if I had to.
However, in spite of constant use and regular washing they have held up well and are showing no signs of wear and tear. For me these are must-have!
