The boots were very comfortable to wear and didn’t take any time at all to break in. They’re lightweight and easy to keep clean, and good in both hot weather and rain. Once adjusted, they’re very easy to slip on and off, and they allow a close contact with the horse because of the ‘fabric’ feel.
The boots are allowed for show jumping and eventing but not dressage. Because they’re unusual at the moment, they did receive some slightly negative comments when worn in competition so, for me, they are more a boot for everyday riding at present. Because they’re so light and comfortable to wear, they’re easy to walk in and for wearing around the yard. They’re still in excellent condition after several months of use.
At £350, I probably wouldn’t buy them myself, but would recommend them for regular use in the yard.
