just purchased a pair in black - I normally take a 5 in mountain horse boots, these 5's were a little bit larger.not your standard size 5. the bottom 2 eyelet holes were difficult to thread and the ankle edges could do with a bit of cushioning, or cut slightly lower so they don't rub. but I overcame the above by putting a little bit of sponge cushioning in the toe area to pad out and wearing slightly thicker socks. so now they fit perfect and find them very comfortable. Bit dressier too than my mountain horse std boots.
