I found this to be a little too "easy" for Scrapz, she would have all of the treats/nuts finished within 15 mins, although I do like the shape of the ball but I prefer Likit's Snack-a-ball as it has a partition through the centre & only 1 small hole for the treats to come out of, fairly good value for money though

This was the first toy that i brought fiona and she loves it i fill it with a few pony nuts and she has it in her stable on the daytime when shes on box rest the shape of the ball means the food lasts longer than some of the other shaped balls on the market.

When I had my horse a couple of years ago - I heard from my friend that this toy doesn't really help horses - it just makes them stessed. Not to put you off but it is a really fun toy and keeps them interested!!! katie

I bought this for my 26 year old pony Bertie when he was on yard rest for laminitis - I was trying to take his mind off escaping! I gave him this with some Badminton high fibre nuggets in it and then wasted the rest of my day watching him find the easiest way to get the nuts out and bashing it around! He cottoned on really quickly and now comes racing over if he sees me bringing it out as a treat for him and my other horse. Sadly my other horse doesn't have the patience to work out that if you roll it gently the nuts come out! Instead he tries to chew his way in and when that doesn't work he stalks Bertie trying to pick up the nuts as Bert rolls the ball to get them out. It is a very tough ball as it has been knocked about in the field and yard and chewed but there are no signs of any weakness. Don't watch your horse play with it though or you'll never get any work done! Worth the money for the entertainment of horse and human!!

My boy loves this toy! He's quite funny and cute to watch when he's using it! He knew what to do with it as soon as I gave it him (I thought he might look at it, smell the food in it but not really know what to do with it!). He rolls it round and kicks it with his front feet. Really durable. Has taken a few kicks and is still going strong. I use it as a boredom breaker but I don't put much in it as my pony doesn't really need any extra feed (he is Welsh...need I say more?!) so it's not long until all the food has trickled out. All in all I think it's great, a real good boredom breaker. Plus the ball doesn't roll around uncontrolably cos of its shape. I think it's a little pricey. Great toy!
