This ball had a lot of use when my horses were confined to their stables because of the snow last winter. Both of them worked out very quickly how to get the treats – I used the Likit Snak-Its and high fibre nuts and both worked equally well. The ball is easy to fill and still looks good even though it quite often hit the stable walls! Because of its shape, it did get up quite a bit of  speed as it rolled across the rubber matting, this meant they emptied the ball quite quickly so it didn’t keep them occupied for as long as I would have liked. But they did have fun playing with it and I will use it again this winter.

I really love this ball, Scrapz tends to gorge her food so it's nice to give her something to occupy her for a little longer than a bucket of feed or a pile of hay. I really like the partition through the centre of the ball as it stops all of the treats from falling out at once thus keeping her occupied for as long as possible!

my horse loves this treat ball. but within a day of having the ball in the stable she'd nibbled the edge of the lid and managed to push in inside the ball so she could get the treats all out in one go. once nibbled the spare lid wouldnt fit on so they definately need to make a more horseproof lid.

This is great for preventing boredom - my pony is quite difficult within the stable and gets bored easily and kicks the door when there are people about - but once you have given her ball to her then there is silence, she really has got the nak of it!

This si a good boredom breaker although my pony has cunningly managed to swivel the cap off just to eat all of the treats in one go. They need to invent a more horse proof lid!!

RE: Likit Snack A Ball

brilliant to reduce boredom and to keep the other horses awake at night with the rattling of pony nuts lol!! however in the first few weeks my geeg decided it would be so much easier to chew the lid of and tip the contents out, but she grew out of that happit - must have got too bored by doing that. but they are so tough and resistant, a bonus with my horse who is a fend!!!
