Tester: Milla Healey and her five-year-old 16hh TB mare who’s in at night and out during the day.
What’s great?
Milla says: “The bales were easily moved in a wheelbarrow. It was semi-deep litter, so I removed the wet twice a week and the droppings every day, using a multi-purpose fork and gloves. I topped it up with one or two bales a week. The bed didn’t move much and seemed very absorbent, containing the wet to a small area. It didn’t stick to my horse’s rugs, mane or tail, was reasonably quick to muck out and didn’t produce much waste.”
What’s not so great?
Milla says, “The only downside was the texture which looked crispy to lie on.”
