Fresha Trough has proven in trials to prevent algae and microbes from growing in horse troughs. It holds 250 litres and comes pre-treated with an antimicrobial coating comprising silver and active metals. It’s hoped this new technology will not only save time, but also reduce illnesses occurring in fieldbased animals, particularly equine colic, which is thought, in some cases, to be caused by dead algae. The Fresha Trough is double skinned for insulation and has smooth corners to prevent chafing.
