My horse had mud fever earlier this year, she also had it last year at around the same time. I caught her mud fever early so it wasn't that bad, I used udder cream and washed her legs daily but the udder cream was so waterproof that the anti-bacterial scrub wasn't getting through so i didnt put udder cream on for a week so it could wear of, i used the powder instead and carried on washing them. The mud fever cleared up fine and now i put the powder on in the morning and brush her legs at night but next year i will use the powder throughout winter to prevent mud fever.
Overall the product was very good as it was easy and quick to put on but it did get blown away a bit by the wind whilst applying but now i put it on in the stable and its fine!
