PolyJumps Polepods

After my horse had keyhole surgery on his stifle, these polepods were vital to his rehabilitation. They were perfect for gradually building up his hind leg muscles working over raised poles and I was able to gradually increase the height over time. They were also easy to lunge over. Lightweight and small it was much easier than dragging out jump wings. whilst not cheap they are durable and made to last so over time would prove to be a good investment.

Polyjumps polepads encouraged my horse to think about where to put his feet and slow himslf up naturally and in doing so produced a collected and balanced trot and a better overall picture. Aswell as the obvious results, I found them fun to use and help to keep a variation to my schooling routine. However aswell as being a bit pricey they are quite light, and if your horse knocks one it will fall over, so with out a helper on the ground they can become quite tedious!

Although they are a great tool in making trotting poles harder for your horse, i feel that they are just too expensive for what they are.

A friend lent me a set when i said philly wasnt picking her feet up. Because of her injury i couldnt set up jumps but this livened her up by showing her she was allowed to *jump* I also set up a cross pole with 2 blocks on either end and this made her get into canter more fluidly. Personally I think they are great, light, easy to store and a real asset to anyones schooling equipment. However I would like it if the price came down a little bit as they are only bits of plastic :P

Quite expensive but very easy to store and open up a whole array of new schooling possibilities.
