Wintec 500 All Purpose Saddle

This is by far the best piece of equipment that I have purchased for my youngster. It is a lovely saddle to ride in extremely comfortable and easy to sit in for long rides and when horse is playing up. The interchangeable gullets have been a god send allowing me to ensure the best fit for my girl. Changing these can be a tad tricky until you get the knack but the longest it has taken me is 30mins. Saddle always looks good and is easy to maintain. Wouldn't buy anything else now!

This saddle is great for everyday use, I tend to do more schooling with my pony than anything else so she would be suited to something a little more straight cut but I can't fault it's durability, it's very easy to maintain/keep clean & it doesn't cost a lot for a lifetime of use as I can change gullet anytime my pony changes shape. Also the flexi blocks you can purchase do help to adapt your saddle to different disciplines

I have a TB so this saddle is great in fitting to his changing shape. I do not have the cair system though and so have the traditional flocking which still works well. I rarely clean it as it doesn't really get dirty and is easily wiped or brushed off if there is. Also, if I do clean it it never looks clean as it never looks dirty.

I really am not a big fan. The cair system has a rigid side panel which gives the panel rigidity as the air system panels squash in below this point. This leaving a long pressure point along the horses back and has given my boy a bad back after a few months use. After looking around, this is quite common with the cair system. Not good! Plus I dont think their should be any system that allows just anyone to alter the width of their saddle, it should be a qualified saddle fitter. The saddle seems quite robust though.

I have this saddle and its great, my horse goes well in it and we compete in it too. its easy to clean and was the only one tht fitted him when the saddler came out!!

i love this saddle i highly recommend it as you can adjust it to your horse all year round, easy to keep clean fab for all weather (welsh weather) the cair system gives your horse more comfort on the presure areas, very comfortable for me to !!!!!!!!!!
