This pad consists of two separate halves, fastened together by four adjustable Velcro fastenings, which enables you to alter the width of the gap along the spine to suit your horse and saddle. The pad is graduated in thickness from 0.5cm at one end to 2.5cm at the other and can be used either way round to adjust the position of your saddle. I found it a little fiddly to fit initially, but once in place there’s no movement at all. I’ve been really impressed with the design of this pad.
