We have had this rug last year for our tb mare who is allergic to flies, midges etc. It fit really well, with full coverage everwhere even all the way up her neck when, with past fly rugs, always full short on the neck. only fault was that the belly flap was a little too big and got stuck on the actual rug making the material pull. But this didn't alter the job of the rug. Very nice rug!

I bought this rug last year for my tb but found it was a bit tight around her shoulders and chest and rubbed her shoulders. She is quite a lightweight build so i think this rug wouldnt fit chunkier horses at all. I also found the seam along her spine rubbed her spine. The belly part is good but i needed rug that covered more of the belly area as she gets itchy. dont think this rug is suitable for horses with bad sweet itch as there is a gap between chest and neck where flies can get to and it doesnt cover enough belly but prob a good rug for a very lightweight horse that doesnt have bad sweet itch but is irritated by flies.

This is the best fly rug I have bought and there has been many. The best thing about this rug is the extra material between the rug n neck cover, my horse is TB gelding and every other rug I have got him the neck cover only come half way on his neck when his head is down eating grass leaving a large area exposed to nasty biting flies. This one covers everything due to the large belly flap and tail flap as well. This rug is well worth buying.
