Design and fit gets a 3 only because I ordered a size too big so it moves around too much. My mare is inbetween sizes and I wish I had gone for a 6'3 not 6'6 type of horse
At competions I have to wear a red tail ribbon which you can not see due to the tail flap and if doing dressage/showing the flap will rub the plaits but for general day to day i love the wide Velcro front fasten and its shape to my horse.
A tad on the expensive side but worth it
