This rug looked great and the price was great too. I claimed to offer all the protection and more our horse would need for the summer. But, First time we tried it on him just to check it was all ok and not damaged, it appeared fine if a little poor quality, fitted well and stayed in place on the body but was quite a bit to long in the neck even though our boy does have quite a long neck. We kept it any way though because the rug was a bargain. We put it on him intending to leave it on him until his other (Shires Maxiflow combo) was cleaned. It lasted less than five hours before getting a huge rip in it even though Ben rarely damages his rugs and there is no barbed wire anywhere near his field. I'm sure it would have been great and protected him from flies and sun. If it had survived long enough to find out! :) Hope others who bought this rug had more sucess Zoe xx
