The directions on this shampoo say it can be applied directly to the coat after wetting. The shampoo was watery in texture and did not lather well. In trying to get a good lather and soapy feeling you end up not knowing how much shampoo you’ve used. It isn’t until you come to rinse you realise just how much you have to remove – it took some time to get all the shampoo out! I had to re-rinse Disney when he had dried because I hadn’t got all the shampoo out – it left his coat feeling tacky. It is a good price and did appear to clean him well but I would like it to lather up more.
