YH tester and event rider, Julia Crowson says:

I used this gel on one of my young horses who had a small bang on his leg. I loved the smell and the skin felt cool to the touch. I used it with and without bandages and the swelling and heat went down after a couple of days. I’m not sure it cooled as well as some of the other products, but it was easy to apply and a little went a long way. Because of the restrictions, I wouldn’t be keen to use this on competition horses.
