My horse wore these throughout the winter, overnight while stabled - approximately 12 hours.
I really liked these chaps. They are contoured to fit the legs and didn't fall down and drag on the ground. Although they are a close fit, they still allow enough room for free movement. My horse rubs easily but they didn't cause any chafing despite being worn for long periods each day.
His legs are prone to filling overnight, particularly his left elg, which suffered an injury two years ago - the chaps completely eliminated any filing. They also prevented his legs from filing when he had to be kept in during the icy weather.
The chaps seem to be well made and still look as good as new. They seemed to repel dirt and the bedding (Easibed) didn't tend to stick to them too much.
They have quite a few Velcro straps, meaning they were a bit of a faff to get on and off - this was made harder by the fact the Velcro was extremely sticky. But the benefit of this was that they fitted to the leg very well and stayed in place each night.
These are quite expensive and require substantial investment so I would probably only buy them if I had a horse who had a specific problem - as mine does with his legs filling.
Having said that, they have worn extremely well this winter and will probably last several years.
