These boots are really lightweight and I found them great for keeping legs cool. They don’t retain any water so they stay light no matter how much water you go through – plus the boots are as good as dry by the time you get back to the lorry to untack. I was also surprised at how clean the legs were after use. The first few times I used these boots I didn’t feel they moulded particularly well to my horse’s legs but this did improve the more I used them. They are a good all-round boot but I would like to see them give a bit more protection, especially when I’m jumping bigger cross-country fences.
