I think these boots are very good for horses who have had an injury or are prone to strains. I didn’t find them the easiest to fit – I had to readjust the straps several times – but the strap that passes under the fetlock was much easier to fasten than I thought. The boot itself is a good shape and is still in good condition even after being washed a few times. The outer material does attract muck, hay seeds and grass – I had to pick these off by hand to keep them looking smart. I would prefer them to have more protection down the inside of the boot to protect the horse from brushing injuries.
