Features: The Sprenger WH Ultra snaffle is made from Aurigan, a material that produces a distinctive, pleasant taste in the horse’s mouth. It promotes the flow of saliva and, claim the manufacturers, helps horses become more relaxed and attentive, thereby improving the contact.

The centre section has a roller to gently stimulate the tongue and encourage the horse to salivate. The design helps horses to accept the bit and relax their jaw. It comes in mouth thicknesses of 16mm to 18mm, with bradoon and D-ring versions also available.

When I purchased my new horse he had been wearing this bit. I however didnt have one. The lady i bought him from allowed me to use her one for a week. I couldnt get one anywhere so i had to ride him in a french link for a few days. The difference was unbelievable! He is so much softer and enjoys hes work more with this bit. Highly recommend it. I use it on 3 of my horses now and its made a difference to each of them!

My horse loves this bit. It is very expensive but i think its worth it. My horse accepts the bit and acheives lightness much more readily than when using my old french link snaffle. I have tried many different types of snaffle bit but this is definatley the best!
